Many of the people who visit us love introducing their kids to our Creed life. They unplug and enjoy climbing trees and the ponds and the animals. It’s a wonderful place. Whether you come as a group of buddies for the best hunting trip of your life or you come to bring your family back to the magic of mother nature, you are going to love staying at Creed Ranch.

You don’t have to be huddled in a sleeping bag in a tent to do it either. Enjoy the comfort of it all from our 3 bedroom guest house prepared just for you. Be cozy and comfortable inside when you are all done with your outdoor activities. It is the perfect place to escape the realities of our busy lives and go live a little simpler. Family Getaway
When we bought the Ranch, we bought it to create the perfect vacation getaway for our family. We turned it into our fantasy fishing and hunting vacation spot. Family and friends stayed at our ranch and they all loved it too. There was something for everyone. A nice cozy home for those that want to be inside and an epic adventure for those wanting to be outside.
Soon, we decided to rent it out to other people as well. That way, our perfect family getaway spot can be the perfect getaway for your family as well.
Our three bedroom guest house is very comfortable. There is a master bedroom and the other two bedrooms have bunk beds. There are two bathrooms and a laundry room with washer and dryer. The kitchen is stocked with your basic kitchen supplies, the dining room seats six, and your living room is comfortable and relaxing, complete with TV and internet.
But who wants to be inside when there is so much for the family to enjoy outside? Hang out on the front porch or back porch, enjoy a nice fire in the backyard firepit, or go explore all the awesome activities that Creed Ranch has to offer like riding ATVs, fishing, hunting, kayaking, catching frogs at the pond, and spending time with our animals. Let the whole family explore nature all around them.
Hunting In Style
The best part of the Creed ranch is the hunting. Whether it is hunting with the family or hunting with friends, Creed Ranch is a hunter’s dream.
First of all, the hunting stands are so comfortable. They are insulated, have screens on the windows to keep out the insects, and are heated. There are shelves for your gear. These are the nicest stands that most of our guests have ever hunted from.
Second of all, you aren’t limited to the animals native to the area. If you want to stick to the local animals, such as whitetail deer, doves, and turkeys, you will have a great time. But if you want to hunt something different, then Creed Ranch is the place for you. This is your chance to hunt wildebeests, nilgai, axis, fallow, rams, or boar. Depending on what is available, We can make arrangements to have exotic animals brought to the ranch for your hunting adventure.
You have access to a cleaning station for your kills in the barn and a walk in cooler in the barn to store your meat. Creed Ranch has thought of everything!
Events
We are also available for events and have great indoor and outdoor activities for your corporate events or special occasions.
In our event center, your event guests will have a great time enjoying our pool table, bar, the theater area, and space for dancing.
And there is no limit to the fun to be had outdoors. We have guided trail rides on ATVs, catch and release fishing in the stocked ponds, kayaking, a shooting range, archery, and skeet shooting. As for the large ponds, one of the ponds is stocked with bass and another is stocked with catfish. Guests are welcome to swim, kayak, fish, or just dangle their feet in the pond and enjoy the great outdoors.
Whether your guests want to be inside or outside, there are a lot of things to do to keep them entertained. As for food, we can arrange to have food provided for your event or you can bring your own food.
Animals
We have some permanent residents of Creed Ranch that are near and dear to our hearts. We hope you will enjoy and love them too.
First of all, we have our pride and joy – our herd of American Bison. We have 13 magnificent buffalo on the ranch and we love every one of their shaggy heads. They are the heart of the ranch, especially one particular special guy. His name is Tomahawk and we consider him to be the “spirit of Creed”. You can definitely pick out this big guy. Everyone who visits our ranch loves his big hairy head and magnificent horns. He has an extra bit of personality and obviously considers himself the king of the Ranch.
Next, we couldn’t be a proper Texas ranch without our Texas Longhorns. We have 2 steer and a cow. And when we say longhorns, we mean it. Check out these horns! We try not to be biased because we love all of our longhorns, but we couldn’t help but fall in love with one of our steer in particular. Our black and white fella, Rocky stole our hearts. This special animal is more pet than cattle. He loves to be petted. Next to eating, getting pets is his favorite thing. If you have never pet a Longhorn before, Rocky may be the animal who changes that for you!
And last but not least, we have our most exotic permanent residents, the Ankole Watusi. These animals are fascinating. With origins from East Africa, this breed of cattle are known for their large, widespread horns. When they are fully grown, their horns are so big it’s almost ridiculous. They can be a variety of different colors, but usually they are red.
We have five of these special animals. Ours are still young and we enjoy watching them grow. Red is the dark colored one. Angela is partial to him because he started out as the runt of the group. He is almost the biggest one now. Be sure and get a good picture of Red!
Tomahawk: Herd of 13 Buffalos
Keep an eye out for Tomahawk — he is the spirit of Creed. Our guests love his big hairy head and his majestic horns. We love all of our American Bison but we have a special affection for Tomahawk. Trust us, you will fall in love.
Texas Longhorns: 2 Steer and 1 Cow
Being in Texas, of course, we love all of our Texas longhorns. But we can’t get enough of Rocky. Rocky is more pet than cattle! All of us are amazed. He is the first Longhorn that any of us have ever met who lets us pet him. And he doesn’t just let us, he loves it!
Ankole Watusi — are fascinating. They are still young but we are enjoying watching them grow. When they are fully grown, their horns are so big it’s almost ridiculous. We love all five of them. Perfect For Your Hunting Party
Native and Exotic Animal Hunting based on animals that are available. We bring in animals for you to hunt. Exotic animals like Wildebeests, Nilgai, Axis, Fallow, and others may be possible based on availability. Other animals Whitetail deer are native to the area and always around. You may also see Turkey, Doves, and others. We can bring Rams, Boar, and other animals.
Our Hunting Stands are very luxurious. These are insulated, have screens on the windows, and are heated. You can sit comfortably inside. There are shelves for your gear. This is the place that we personally love to get away to as much as possible. Just like you, our lives are busy with business and kids sports activities and the usual 9-5 life. We made this for our family and loved it so much we just had to share it with yours.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
We had a great time at Creed Ranch. The hosts were very gracious and helpful. Grounds were well kept with the best blinds we’ve ever been in. Lodging was nice and accommodating. We also got to enjoy riding ATVs and some catch/release fishing. Our son got his first buck there! Overall, incredible experience with fun memories. Definitely recommend and will be going back any chance we can.

with the owner as we applied war paint on from our harvest. Drilled a couple of large hogs while we were there as well.
My family and I have been to creed ranch multiple times and it never disappoints. The owners definitely go out of their way to make sure your home away from home. It was really cool seeing all the bison and other exotic wildlife, and man oh man deer and hogs running wild it was really exciting. Fishing is great in all of the bodies of water on the massive property and the trail riding was especially fun since I hadn’t ridden since I was a kid. My oldest son 10 loved it so much we actually bought him his own quad cause let’s be honest it’s always more fun to drive than to ride… needless to say we will be back as often as possible and I can’t wait till hunting season.
We went to Creed Ranch in January of 2021 for a long weekend and had a great time relaxing and hunting. It is perfectly located close enough to the DFW area for a close weekend getaway but far enough out there you can lose yourself in the quiet country side. The blinds for hunting were by far the best we’ve been in. All areas in and around the feeders are very well kept and groomed. There is a lot of wildlife out there to hunt: native deer, hogs, coyotes and bobcats. The hostess were very accommodating to anything we needed. We also got to ride the ATV’s and fish while there. The last day we were there it started snowing very early in the morning and when we woke up it had transformed Creed Ranch into a beautiful winter wonderland. We will be back to make more memories as soon as we can!.
